Al Horford comes out for the kids and Sprint 4G LTE (Photos)

In celebration of the ongoing expansion of Sprint 4G LTE in Atlanta, Atlanta Hawks All-Star Al Horford visited with some kids and did some work for Sprint throughout the day on Tuesday.

Sprint offered fans several unique one-on-one experiences throughout the day, including playing a game of S-P-R-I-N-T with local school kids.

This was all to bring attention to Sprint deploying its 4G LTE technology in Atlanta as part of its Network Vision plan to consolidate multiple network technologies into one. Also the seamless network with the goal of enhancing network coverage, call quality and data speeds for customers. Horford, who is an Atlanta resident can rely on Sprint’s 4G LTE network in Atlanta and 67 other markets across the country to stay connected like never before.

To recap the day, Horford started out at the Peachtree Hill Recreation Center, he then went to GameStop at Lenox Square Mall to play NBA 2K13, and the day wrapped up with an autograph signing at the Sprint Store at Around Lenox.

Sprint is building all-new 3G and 4G LTE networks as part of its Network Vision plan. This network buildout is expected to improve all aspects of the wireless experience for customers. Sprint has launched 4G LTE service in 58 markets – including Atlanta, Athens, Gainesville, Newnan and Rome in Georgia alone – and sites are on-air and implementation is under way in hundreds more. Sprint officials said they were thrilled that Horford came out to interact with the kids and meet Sprint's loyal customers.
