Earlier this week, video game publisher Aksys Games announced that gamers would once again be seeking out the Demon Blades when the publisher releases “Muramasa Rebirth” for the PlayStation Vita.
“Muramasa Rebirth” is a redesigned version of “Muramasa: The Demon Blade” and features hi-res graphics, enhanced controls and a complete relocalization in English. The game has two stories that gamers can follow, the path of Kisuke, a ninja who has lost his memory and travels east in search of the demon blades or the story of Momohime, a princess possessed by and evil spirit who travels west, battling demons along the way.
Gamers will search for 108 Demon Blades, each offering a unique special ability. In addition to the main stories there will also be an option to purchase four additional DLC characters, complete with their own scenarios.
No official release date was given by Aksys Games at this time, but Amazon and Game Stop both list the release as June 25, 2013. You can visit the official site to keep up with any “Muramasa Rebirth” news.
