Video game publisher Aksys Games today announced that it would be delaying the release of the limited edition version of its upcoming PlayStation 3 title, “Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi”.

The reason given for the temporary delay of the limited edition is that one of the components included in the limited edition does not meet the publisher’s standards. The limited edition includes the game, a hair comb, a hair pin and a Japanese love charm, packaged in a limited edition box. Aksys Games will now release the limited edition of “Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi” on May 20, 2014.

Those of you that preordered the standard edition of the game or who purchase the digital version, via the PlayStation Network, don’t have to worry however, the game will still be released as planned on May 6, 2014.
