I saw this commercial the other day that greatly impressed me. It occured during the comic book show
Smallville's final episode. The commercial featured a series of includions of gay males offering words
of advice to the afflicted younger generations that share their sexuality but are also unable to stand life.
Suicide is not the answer--nevermind Catholic doctrine for a second. The principle that the suffering souls
who committ the act will end up in damnation- that is a ruse, a psychological tactic to scare the tormented
individuals out of disparity. Does it work? Maybe for the Catholic-inclined people of this earth. The rest
will have media- an alternative growing religion that must ruin illicit business's chances of isolating persons
into want and desire. When that is sudennly absent, we go through a whilwind of shame and loss. And still for
those that feel misrepresented or ignored, create something as Kurosawa did, not fearing death, bu revealing
that it's all light and shadow- a dream. "Return", as a great german philospher might say. And struggle to better-
to Beat It.
