The 12th Annual AKC/Eukanuba National Championship Dog Show was held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 in Orlando, Florida. The best of the best dogs of various breeds were presented at this exciting show. Beautiful and lively dogs got to trot around putting their best paw forward.
The judges had their work cut out for them when judging due to such a talented and special group of dogs. The different breeds are divided up in groups along with the breed of dog winning in each group:
- Herding: Bouvier des Flandres
- Hound group: Saluki
- Non-Sporting: Standard Poodle
- Sporting group: Crocker Spaniel
- Terrier group: Wire Fox Terrier
- Toy group: Affenpinscher
- Working group: Malamute
The overall Best of Show went to: Wire Fox Terrier by the name of “Afterall Painting the Sky aka “Sky”. Terriers are great dogs and always score high in judging.
