AJC Seattle Jewish Film Festival kicks off with The Human Resource Manager

The AJC Seattle Jewish Film Festival kicks off Saturday night with the award winning drama-comedy The Human Resource Manager.

Director Eran Riklis, whose previous work includes festival favorites Syrian Bride and The Lemon Tree, sets his sights on an HR manager who discovers his own humanity as he escorts the body of a suicide-bomb victim back to her Romanian homeland.
 
The Human Resource Manager earned Riklis five Israeli Ophir Awards, including best picture. Ricklis will be on hand after the festival's opening night screening to discuss his film and Q&A with the audience.
 
The Seattle Jewish Film Festival, now in its 16th year, runs through March 20 and features more than two dozen films from around the world. For a full schedule of screenings, special events and guest speakers check out www.seattlejewishfilmfestival.org.
