AJ McCarron's girlfriend upstaged the BCS game between Alabama and Notre Dame Monday night. As the New York Daily News reports Jan. 8, Katherine Webb stole the show after ESPN commentator, Brent Musburger, went on and on about the 2012 Miss Alabama beauty.

"You see that lovely lady there, she does go to Auburn, but she's also Miss Alabama and that's AJ McCarron's girlfriend," Musburger said during the first-half. "You quarterbacks, you get all the good looking women. What a beautiful woman. Wow."
Several camera shots of Webb were on-screen throughout the rest of the BCS game. As that was happening, McCarron's girlfriend was gaining more Twitter followers. She had a mere 5,000 before reaching 80,000 at the end of the evening then ultimately over 142,000 by mid-morning Tuesday. She surpassed her quarterback boyfriend, who has just over 100,000 followers.
Yahoo! Sports columnist, Jeff Passan, tweeted about Musburger's remarks during the game.
"Sources: A.J. McCarron's girlfriend to seek restraining order from Brent Musburger at halftime," Passan wrote.
NFL player Donte Stallworth, had his own thoughts as well.
He wrote, "And now 'AJ McCarrons' is trending number one right now ... not because of his play but because of his ol lady .... And Brent Musburger."
