Ever since Brent Musburger’s comments of infatuation with quarterback AJ McCarron’s beautiful girlfriend Katherine Webb who was in the stands during the national championship game last month, the incident has been a trending topic.
In a TMZ report dated Sat. Feb. 2, it was revealed that McCarron isn’t holding any grudge towards Musburger despite his massive crush on his girlfriend, “Miss Alabama.”
Since finding herself in national headlines, Webb has also accepted the attention without any complaints towards Musburger. Additionally, it has earned the beauty queen a great deal of positive exposure and opportunities in the entertainment business. Still, the network issued an apology following the embarrassment.
The TMZ photographer caught up with the spotlighted quarterback in New Orleans yesterday, and got the scoop. McCarron is headed to the super bowl to root for the Ravens, and that is where his mind appears to be at the moment. He says things are just fine between him and Musburger, and that there are no hard feelings between the two. He even insisted that they are “good friends.”
Recent reports also say that McCarron and Webb knew that she would likely be shown on camera during the game, as Musburger had mentioned it ahead of time.
So there you have it….McCarron isn’t upset with Musburger. It isn’t unreasonable to think that most guys DO like to date the girl that ALL the guys want.
McCarron and Musburger are taking it in stride, so it looks like everyone can move on now.....though this is probably just the beginning.
