Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai and actor Abhishek Bachchan's newborn baby is likely to be named as Abhilasha, according to Ibnlive.in.com.
Author Shobha De's tweet revealed the name of the baby girl. Shobha tweeted: "Beti B to be named Abhilasha? That's a stroke of genius. Well done, parents. Abhi and Ash. Truly inspired, if true."
Even though the news is not confirmed by either Aishwarya Rai or Abhishek, reports say that the name has been finalised. The word 'Abhilasha' means a wish or a desire.
The Times of India wrote, "However, Abhishek Bachchan only recently clarified that Baby B is not named yet. He went on to add that the picture of his daughter would not be 'revealed' - we can catch a glimpse of her when she naturally begins to go out."
"He went on to say that there would be no naming ceremony for the baby, as the families don't believe in 'naamkaran'. Abhishek also added, that the name had at last been finalised and will be communicated to all soon."
According to reports, the Bachchan family is waiting for Amitabh to be discharged from the hospital and return home healthy.
Looks like it's Sr. Bachchan who will reveal the name on Twitter just like he did the news of Aishwarya Rai's pregnancy.
Aishwarya Rai gave birth to a baby girl on November 11, 2011 at the Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai.
