Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai baby girl is named "Beti B" -- for now. Even while pictures of the newborn remain elusive, at least the Bollywood parents chose a temporary name that fits the Bachchan family.
Even before Ash delivered her first child at Seven Hills Hospital, social media fans gave the unborn child the name "Baby B" for “Bachchan.” Some actually thought the "B" was for boy.
But when Abhishek announced to the world Wednesday on Twitter, " IT'S A GIRL!!!!!! :-)))));" At that point, "Baby G" would have been more appropriate.
Aishwarya Rai Baby Girl: Latest News is Temporary Name Tease
It's understandable that many parents are now passing on the chance to know whether their baby will be a boy or girl. But names are usually tossed around early on as the mother prepares a nursery, and plans for the delivery on baby's birthday.
But Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek are probably waiting for a sign from God on what permanent name to give their infant child. It is known they are active practitioners of their faith and have a close partnership with their creator.
"And till we find a name for the little lady a dear friend @ShahanaGoswami gave me a great one. We have Sr B and Jr B already so... Beti B! ~ Abhishek tweeted about a temporary Aishwarya Rai baby girl name, citing an NDTV story.
Bollywood Parents Private, Keep Aishwarya Rai Baby Girl Pic Images from Media
Based on how Ash was during her pregnancy, the likelihood of releasing any pictures to the media about her baby girl is slim to none. Before "Beti B" was born, the Bollywood actress did not give any interviews, and was rarely seen in the public.
One published source said that Aishwarya Rai and the Bachchan family are very private, and will probably not release any pic images any time soon. In fact, Ash and Ab passed on several magazines offering large sums of money for the first pictures of their baby girl.
Hopefully, the public understands that while the parents are celebrities, they are entitled to their privacy.
