Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai baby delivery news has been of high interest of her fans around the world. Meanwhile, the news media has given her and her family the respect of privacy by adhering to strict guidelines for their TV and reporting coverage.
Aishwarya is most famous for her Bollywood film roles, as well as winning Miss World in 1994. In terms of television roles, Rai has appeared on various United States TV shows, seen in Roanoke and elsewhere. She has appeared as a guest on several talk shows including "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 2005, the "Late Show With David Letterman" in 2005, and "The Tyra Banks Show" in 2009. Most recently she was seen on TV at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards show which was broadcast in February.
As Aishwarya Rai's baby delivery draws near, the Indian TV media has agreed to use certain rules in terms of their coverage of her giving birth. This includes no TV crews or trucks outside of the Seven Hills Hospital where she will deliver her child. Also, they are to keep their coverage of the story to a minimum time and wait for an official announcement from the family when the birth has occurred.
This is something the media in the United States rarely does for its TV and movie celebrities. Examples include the constant coverage of Kim Kardashian's wedding and divorce, or Justin Bieber's paternity lawsuit scandal with Mariah Yeater. For Aishwarya Rai and her family this will give her comfort and peace of mind as she brings her newborn child into the world. News of when her child is born may be made available on TV stations including E! Entertainment TV (Cox Cable channel 60) as soon as it happens this month.
