AirTran Airways adds vitaminwater zero as an onboard beverage

Tired of the same old soft drinks and juices when you fly?  Want something more than boring water?  Well, AirTran Airways this month announced that it will be the first airline to serve vitaminwater zero squeezed (lemonade) and vitaminwater zero XXX (acai-blueberry-pomegranate) as the newest additions to the airline's complimentary beverage lineup. AirTran Airways carries 19 types of Coca-Cola  products - more than any other airline in the world, and will continue to provide a wide variety of complimentary and buy onboard Coca-Cola products on all flights.

"This continues the long partnership with The Coca-Cola Company by offering vitaminwater zeroas a complimentary beverage in-flight," said Tad Hutcheson, AirTran Airways' vice president of marketing and sales. "We pride ourselves on partnering with the best brands and Coca-Cola is at the top of the list. Coca-Cola also benefits by being able to introduce our customers to new and exciting products like vitaminwater zero onboard. It's like a free sampling lab at 30,000 feet."

Vitaminwater is hoping the exposure on AirTran flights will make more and more people vitaminwater customers down the road.  If nothing else, it is something healthy and good for your body to drink inflight.
