Alfred 'Tornado' Romero has his hands full with Daniel Calzada on February 28th in Denver.

Airtight Boxing (Steve Mestas) presents ‘READY TO RUMBLE’ on Friday, February 28, 2014, at the Denver Boxing Academy, 3540 E. 31st Ave., featuring two exciting Denver light welterweights Alfred ‘Tornado’ Romero (7-2, 6KO’s) and Daniel Calzada (9-9-2, 2KO’s) headlining the event.

On paper Daniel Calzada’s record may look unimpressive but he is one hard-nosed competitor who will be poised to improve his own record while adding another loss to that of the popular and aggressive Alfred ‘Tornado’ Romero.

This fight alone will be worth the price of admission but there is an attractive undercard featuring a host of participants who have their own ardent followers with Amir Young vs Izaak Cordona, L.T. Nelson vs Matthew O’Neil, Hilario Lujan vs Chris Galvadon and Alejandro Castillo vs TBA scheduled to compete, the card subject to change.

Fight action begins promptly at 7:30PM, doors open at 6:30PM, with tickets available for purchase at any King Soopers/TicketsWest outlet or House of Pain Boxing: 720-298-1954.
