Airline seat recliner rage creates not so friendly skies on Delta flight

Now this is getting out of hand. Last night, September 1st, a Delta Airline flight was diverted due to another incident of seat recliner rage this time by a young woman according to news sources such as Local10.com.

According to the Local10.com report, the latest battle began on Delta flight 2370 while en-route from New York’s LaGuardia International Airport to West Palm Beach, Florida when a 32-year-old Amy Fine of Boca Raton, Florida tried to put her seat back and was stopped by the passenger behind her who started yelling and swearing. A flight attendant apparently tried to cull the situation to no avail. The captain got involved and decided to make an unscheduled landing in Jackson where Amy Fine was escorted off the plane where she was not arrested and set free to rent a car and drive herself back to Boca.

This, believe or not, is third time this week a South Florida flight was diverted because of passenger rage, and with the ways things are going in the now not so friendly skies, it may not be the last.
