Each plane has different weapons and different capabilities. The biplane and the prop fighter are armed with machine guns that fire in a straight line. Carpet bombers attack any target underneath them, and the jet's missile fires in an arc. Additional planes and slots can be purchased using microtransactions.
The tactics start with choosing the right combination of aircraft, but controlling flight paths is more important. The looping path feature helps the player avoid collisions. Each craft involved in a crash randomly changes course.
Perhaps the most impressive feature of Air Patriots is the hardest to identify. It is addictive and fun, even though the graphics do not stress the capabilities of most Android tablets.
