Air Dubai, Caramel Carmela & more: Denver live music weekend picks Nov. 18-19

Looking for some great live music in Denver this weekend? As usual, you have plenty from which to choose. To help you narrow it down, here are just a few of the more promising shows going on this weekend.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 18

Nederland folk band Elephant Revival is headlining a show at the Bluebird Theater, 3317 E. Colfax in Denver. Opening the show is SHEL. Tickets are $20-$22, available through Bluebird Theater. Doors at 8:00 PM; show starts at 9:00. Ages 16+.

Local electronic/metal band Caramel Carmela is headlining at Marquis Theater, 2009 Larimer St. in downtown Denver. Also performing are Kill Paradise, Places, and Fulcrum. Tickets are $10, available from Soda Jerk Presents. Doors at 7:30 PM. This is an all-ages show.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19

Local hip-hop act Air Dubai is headlining a show at the Fox Theatre, 1135 13th St. in Boulder. Opening the show are Foodchain and Aviva. Tickets are $12 advance, $14 day of show, available from Fox Theatre. Add $2 per ticket for under 21. Doors at 8:30 PM; show starts at 9:00. This is an all-ages show.

Local bands Dirty Backseat Lovers and Demon Funkies are having a dual CD release show at the Soiled Dove Underground, 7401 E. 1st St. in Denver. Opening the show is Brent Loveday. Tickets are $10-$15, available through Soiled Dove Underground. Doors at 7:00 PM; doors at 8:00. Ages 21+.
