Disney World has a way of bringing out the inner princess of every girl, big or small. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, located in Magic Kingdom and at the Disney Store in Downtown Disney, specializes in transforming girls into princesses. With the help of a fairy godmother-in-training and a little pixie dust, girls (ages 3-12) can emerge as Aurora, Cinderella, Ariel, or the princess of her choosing.
But, what about the boys? Don't boys want to go to Disney World and have a makeover experience just for them? Fortunately, with inspiration from shows like Disney's "Jake and the Never Land Pirates," becoming a pirate is a unique way for boys to transform in the magical world of Disney. The Pirates League, located in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom, is sure to make a swashbuckler out of anyone brave enough to test their pirate skills.
Kids over the age of 3 can experience life as a pirate and chose a "first mate," cursed pirate or Captain Hook makeover. There's also a "Jake" makeover that will delight any young pirate-in-the-making. Not to be left out, girls can become scurvy sea dogs too by choosing an "empress" or mermaid makeover.
After being transformed into the pirate of choice, guests are taken to search for buried treasure and receive their own pirate declaration and medallion. There are also keepsake photos available for an additional cost. Prices start at $29.95 and reservations are strongly suggested.
