Ahmadiyya Muslim Community congrats to the Roman Catholic Church and its members all around the globe upon the election of his Holiness Pope Francis 1. And pray that this appointment will help bringing true peace to the world.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has always been committed to spread Love & Peace all around the globe by following the true teachings of Islam. And always willing to work together with others to establish religious harmony and tolerance in the society.
Interfaith Peace is far more important than ever before since the religion which was supposed to be helping in establishing peace is actually threatening the world's peace by its so called followers. If we see the moral side religion is on the retreat , crimes are increasing , equality and justice is at the brink of extinction so what we observe today is an awake up call for all of us.
Let's start by talking about the things which are common among all the religions that is humanity , love and peace. As the Holy Quran says,
" Say , 'O people of the book ! Come to a word equal between us and you " 3: 64
And let's give the due respect to the founders of all the religion like Moses , Muhammad, Jesus and Krishna etc. This is also what the Quran teaches and does as it says , " Revile not those whom they call upon beside Allah lest they , out of spite revile Allah in their ignorance . " 6 :109
And like Quran mention Jesus and says "Verily, the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was only a Messenger of Allah and a fulfillment of His word which He sent down to Mary, and a mercy from Him." Quran 4 :171
And then Quran goes further ahead and verify the truth of all other religions and their founders and says ,
" Verily , We have sent thee with the truth , as a bearer of glad tidings and as a warner , and there is no people to whom a warner has not been sent." 35 :24
And then Quran goes another step ahead and promote the religious harmony and tells that salvation is not monopolized by any religion as Quran says,
"Surely , those who have believed ,and the Jews, and the Sabians and the Christians whoso believe in Allah and the Last Day and does good deeds on them shall come no fear , nor shall the grieve. 5 :69
Then Quran teaches another beautiful principle of freedom of speech and the freedom of religion and says ,
" Produce your proof , if you are truthful " 2 : 112
And the says , " There should be no compulsion in religion. Surely , right has become distinct from wrong ." 2 :256
And last but not the least the fundamental principle of justice for all look at the following verse the message is loud and clear
"O ye who believe! be steadfast in the cause of Allah, bearing witness in equity; and let not a people’s enmity incite you to act otherwise than with justice. Be always just, that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah. Surely, Allah is aware of what you do." 5:8
So by congratulating the new Pope and all the Christian brothers and sister around the globe Ahmadiyya Muslim Community would like to grab this opportunity to pray and work together to bring the true peace and justice to the mankind by following the beautiful teachings of Islam .
