AHA National Homebrew Competition entries are due soon

The American Homebrew Association is now accepting entries for this year's National Homebrew Competition. For homebrewers living in Colorado Springs, 1st round judging takes place in the Old West Region in Denver, CO on April 24, 2010. Entries are due April 1, 2010, and are being accepted at a variety of locations.

Entry fees are $9.00 for AHA members or $14.00 for non-members. Membership does have its privileges.

All AHA/BJCP styles are accepted, and medals and awards are handed out for the best beer, mead, and cider in those 28 categories. First round competition takes place at nine regional sites throughout the month of April. Final round competition takes place in June with awards handed out on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at the National Homebrewers Conference in Minneapolis, MN.

Online registration and entry forms are located on the event website, along with dropoff/mail locations for the entries.
