A local arts fundraiser benefiting the Artist Foundation of San Antonio http://artistfound.org will take place Saturday September 17, 2011 at the Pearl Brewery Amphitheatre.http://atpearl.com
‘Aguas Frescas’ is being co-sponsored by Pearl Brewery and the San Antonio Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. It will feature an outdoor art exhibition by thirty of the best local women artists, both new and established, but all fresh and outstanding. There will also be an art auction, riverside dancing, and delicious food by Chef Johnny Hernandez of La Gloria. http://lagloriaicehouse.com Since this event will be held along the San Antonio River and will feature ‘fresh’ artwork, the name ‘Aguas Frescas’ was designed to describe it.
The art mediums that will be represented in this show include ceramics, drawing, mixed media, painting, photography and printmaking.
