On Sept. 18, the "AGT" 2013 winner was crowned. And so, at long last after a long season, this NBC talent show officially called "America's Got Talent" named the best act in the whole nation at Radio City Music Hall.
But it was a long evening before that happened.
There was lots of top flight filler for the two-hour "AGT" finals show, with the likes of Josh Groban, Icona Pop, Dierks Bentley, The Rockettes, Earth, Wind and Fire, Luke Bryan and Il Divo featuring Heather Headley performing. All rocked the show, some with their "America's Got Talent" counterparts.
A highlight was when Bravo's James Lipton appeared with comedian Taylor Williamson.
But even these huge headliners couldn't soften the blow when certain finalists were told about his or her or their fate. Cami Bradley was given the number six spot while Collins Key was keyed in for fifth place. Forte surprisingly grabbed fourth place while Jimmy Rose came in third.
And then, just like with Miss America, the tension really built as the million dollar prize and the "America's Got Talent" crown was about to be passed to either Kenichi Ebina or Taylor Williamson?
The answer finally came and it was multi-media performance artist Kenichi Ebina who won "AGT" 2013. Do you think the "America's Got Talent" voters got it right? Please weigh in.
