'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' actor spotted on Joss Whedon's 'Avengers 2' set

According to Cinema Blend on Saturday, ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." actor B.J. Britt, who plays Antoine Triplett, was spotted on the set of director Joss Whedon's "Avengers: Age of Ultron." It makes sense and even Clark Gregg, who plays Agent Phil Coulson, mentions how at first he was seeing unrelated characters and villains when first reading the script for the show and he's now come to the conclusion that it's all connected.

Up until this point, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." or "nothing", as it currently stands, has brought in some great actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. "How I Met Your Mother" and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier's" Cobie Smulders made some guest appearances on the show to help transition Agent Coulson and his team into the more privatized world of Tony Stark's corporation.

Samuel L. Jackson made his appearance on the season one finale as former director Nick Fury as he passed the torch onto the new Director Phil Coulson, although he's director of "nothing" at this point, but some still wonder how that little cubic device is going to help him relaunch the organization.

Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif joined the cast in an episode where she attempts to apprehend the Asgardian temptress Loreli as she tries to lure Earth men into her servitude as well as Agent Ward. That being said, this should have been the writing on the wall as this was very "telling" of Ward's loyalty to the S.H.I.E.L.D. organization. But it was Agent Garrett that was the supreme tempting factor to the new Hydra loyalist Ward.

A large conglomeration of online photos from the set revealed Captain America's motorcycle as Chris Evans, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, and B.J Britt had been observing the vehicle. There were also look-a-like actors or stand-ins for Robert Downey, Jr. and the Thor character.

There are also rumors going around online about the "Avengers 2" movie as there looks to be a love interest situation between Bruce Banner, as portrayed by Mark Ruffalo, and the Black Widow, as played by Scarlett Johansson. Also, it looks as if the movie starts off with a battle between the Avengers against both Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver as they fight on the side of Hydra. So it appears as if things are pretty promising from the get go.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron opens in theaters come May 1, 2015.
