In the last episode, we get another Thor crossover as two Asgardian women fight over mankind after Lorelei takes Ward under her control. Jaimie Alexander guest stars as Sif who comes to Earth to take down Lorelei.
In this week’s episode, titled “End of the Beginning”, SHIELD goes after the Clairvoyant with Skye’s help but things get complicated as Deathlock tries and stops them.
Mike (who is now Deathlock officially) returns as he attacks Garrett (guest star Bill Paxton) and Triplett in their hotel room, but they are able to win the fight and cause him to flee.
The group catches SHIELD up to what the Clairvoyant is doing a plan to try and uncover who it is. They are going to pair off with someone who doesn’t know the plan and use Skye to try and use patterns done by the Clairvoyant to narrow down the suspects.
Skye is eager to get back but Fitz/Simmons are reluctant to give her the ok. She gets the mission after she is officially announced that she is officially a SHIELD agent.
The Agents go to the ground in search of the suspects. Deathlock gets to May and Blake and almost kills him but good news is that they have a suspect, Thomas Nash.
Researching Nash, they learn that Nash worked undercover for Canada as someone who could almost predict what someone would do. While Skye is briefing them, Coulson notices that Blake has given them a break in the case as he was able to put a tracker on Deathlock. While going after him, they find the Clairvoyant.
The Clairvoyant talks with Coulson about why he wasn’t able to see him before. He says that Skye is the key to everything. Ward is not happy that Nash is talking so negatively about Skye and threatening to kill her so he kills him.
Coulson is worried that Nash was a cover for the real Clairvoyant. Skye agrees and thinks that the Clairvoyant has access to their files which is how he knows so much. They conclude that the Clairvoyant is an Agent of SHIELD.
While in the cockpit checking things out, Fitz finds May’s secret line and he thinks that she is the traitor and that Ward was working with her. Coulson and Skye question her but then the plane changes directions and Coulson wonders if she’s telling the truth about not being the traitor. We get to see who the real traitor is.
Skye and Garrett talk about Ward and that Garrett is happy that Ward is part of the team because he thinks it is better him for be part of a team rather then alone. It gives him something to fight for.
May (who we know that is talking to SHIELD behind Coulson’s back about him) talks with Fitz and Simmons about the formula they used to save Skye. She asks them to know all she can about it --no doubt so that she can tell SHIELD before Coulson and Skye can find out about it.
Coulson learns that Fury is back and that he can talk to him about what he did. He wants answers and he is determined to get them.
Next week, the Agents try and get the answers to who is behind Deathlock as SHIELD is split and you don’t know who is good and who is bad.
