Makes you think about moving to Minneapolis just to get the time off. The whole objective of giving leave to employees at Barrie, D’Rozario, Murphy is to allow employees to experience the life they want to enjoy and return refreshed.
You wonder how this Ad Agency could afford to give such an enormous amount of time off to their employees. The agency says they have a lot of cash reserve, which is why they can afford this privilege to employees.
There are no strings attached. Employees get to do whatever they choose. They can start a business, travel, be with their family, do nothing, etc… It is all up to the employee and their desires.
Barrie, D’Rozario, Murphy isn’t the only company that gives employees time off for purposes to refresh and pursue their dreams, Google has partaken of this kindness as well. And a New York design firm shuts down every seven years for a full year to take a sabbatical.
What would you do with a four-month paid leave off your job?
