Agapefest has released the name of the first band scheduled to take the main stage when Agape returns to the St. Louis area in Greenville, Illinois on May 3 and 4, 2013. Family Force 5 is coming!
Band members have been known to entertain and surprise with unexpected antics like rolling into the audience “floating” and rolling inside a huge clear plastic bubble.
You will not sit down for long because Family Force 5 will have you up on your feet singing, clapping and moving. This band from Atlanta with a style referred to as “crunk rock” or "crunkcore" is known to many as FF5 or the band formerly called Phamily and the Brothers. Crunk is a style that combines elements of punk, scream-o and hip-hop somewhat similar in style to the band brokeNCYDE as shown in the video above this article. Christian crunk takes the energetic musical style and throws in messages of faith.
This Christian rock band is made up of five energetic members who have also made the Billboard 200 with their hit “Dance or Die”. Other well-known songs from FF5 include “Zombie”, “D-I-E 4 Y-O-U” and “Wobble”.
Family Force 5 consists of rockers Solomon Olds, Joshua Olds, Nathan Currin, Jacob Olds and Derek Mount. The band members are better known by their fans as Soul Glow Activatur, Fatty, Nadaddy, Crouton and Chap Stique.
