After losing 56 lbs, Kim Kardashian wants to shed 10 more: Her pounds-off plan

Less is more? No, more is more, according to Kim Kardashian. After losing an estimated 56 pounds on the low-carb Atkins diet, the reality TV superstar wants to shed 10 more, she told E! News on Dec. 11.

"I saw one photo. It was OK. I think I still have about 10 pounds to go," Kim said of a paparazzi photo showing her in a bikini. And she made it clear that those photos were taken without her permission.

"We got to the beach, we turn around and we see all this paparazzi. I was like, 'Nope, we're not going to the beach,'" Kim said.

She credited her weight loss to cutting down on carbohydrates.

"[The Atkins diet] really trained me not to eat so many carbs. I used to eat so many carbs, and now I don't," she said. But she's going easier on the rules of the plan, rather than be so "hard-core."

Kim contends that getting older makes it hard to lose weight.

"I mean, as you get older and your body changes, you just can't eat the way you used to. So I'm training myself and I work out," said the 33-year-old.

In addition to staying on her low-carb, high protein Atkins diet, Kim is hitting the track and the gym, reported the Christian Post on Dec. 12.

"You know, I love Pilates, I love running. Now that we're on the road, just any gym in any hotel, I just go for it," she said.

But Kim has some extra help that most people can't afford.

"She's got a trainer on tour with she and Kanye and a chef to keep her meals carb free. With the exception of some cheat days, because she is realistic now, she sticks with it!" a source told People magazine.
