What's even better than going to the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, which runs from September 19 to November 12 this year? Staying out late and enjoying the festivities until 1 a.m.!

This year, Walt Disney World is added a special event on Tuesday and Thursday nights that requires a hard ticket, to the tune of $79. For that price, you can party from 9:45 p.m. until 1 a.m.between the United Kingdom Pavilion and the World Showcase Plaza, enjoying six different items from select kiosks and enjoying live music and a DJ. You may want to go more than once if you can swing it, as many of the offerings will rotate. However, you can always count on cuisine from Hawaii and the Desserts and Champagne kiosk.

Call 407-939-3378 for ticket information. You're not required to have an Epcot admission ticket, as long as you don't arrive at the park before 9 p.m.

Even if you're not planning to go to the special event, you can still enjoy the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival during daytime hours. It's a great place to enjoy lunch, dinner, or both as you dine your way around the World. Check out the slideshow accompanying this article for some scenes from last year's festival.

As the name implies, there's food and wine from a variety of countries and locales, as well as beer, special desserts, and more. It's a good thing that EPCOT is said to stand for "Every Person Comes Out Tired" because you'll need to do a few walks around the world to burn off some of the calories you consume on your culinary journey.

On Halloween, you can enjoy a nearby event that's just as packed with good food and drink. Jump to this article to read about the Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic.
