In the science fiction fantasy film, “After Earth,” viewers will get a chance to see Will Smith and his son, Jaden, play co-starring roles. “After Earth” will appear in theaters on June 7, 2013 and is an unrated film at this time.
When a landing goes awry, Kitai Raige (Jaden) and his father (Cypher) find themselves stranded on Earth. The period is 1,000 years after cataclysmic events caused humans to flee.
Cypher is critically injured, leaving Kitai to travel alone on a journey to find help. He faces strange animal species, terrain that has yet to be traveled and an alien creature that escaped during their crash landing.
Kitai and his father need to work together to learn how to return to their home.
