AFRP is part of Birdies for Charity at 2012 AT&T golf tourny

Animal Friends Rescue Project (AFRP) is one of several charities in this years AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am golf tournament that can receive pledges.  Donors can complete a pledge form with either a per-birdie pledge or a flat donation.  AFRP will receive 100% of the collected pledges along with at 15% match from the Monterey Peninsula Foundation.  

Donors who guess the number of birdies the pros will score during the golf tournament in February will be in the running to win the grand prize of two roundtrip airline tickets and a Stay and Play package at The Inn at Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach.

Animal Friends Rescue Project (AFRP) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Pacific Grove, California. Founded in June 1998 by four individuals who were passionate about making a difference to companion animal overpopulation, they are dedicated to finding good permanent homes for abandoned, stray, and abused companion animals and ending the pet overpopulation crisis through focused spay/neuter programs.
