The 12th Annual Pinot Noir Summit will take place on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at The Golden Gate Club at the Presidio in San Francisco. The day will be full of panels, tastings and VIP events for all Pinot Noir lovers; starting at 10:30 a.m. with the Sparkling Wine Brunch, featuring top bubblies made with Pinot Noir.
Affairs of the Vine organizes the most comprehensive and focused tasting of Pinot Noir in the U.S. In its 12th year, the Pinot Noir Summit presents the results of a well throughout judging process, designed to prevent judges palette fatigue.
Over 450 wines were judged throughout a three-month period, by an incredibly diverse panel of 40 wine professionals. Gold and silver medal winners were announced recently, and one-hundred eighteen gold medals and twenty-five silver medals were awarded. Lucky Pinot lovers will be able to taste the award winning wines at the Pinot Noir Summit. Amongst the winners, you will get to enjoy at the Grand Tasting are Bouchaine Vineyards, Cakebread Cellar, Cline Cellars, Dawn’s Dream Winery, Fortunati Vineyards, Gloria Ferrer, Harmonique, Holman Ranch, MacMurray Ranch, Mahoney Vineyard and Winery, Masút Vineyard and Winery, Mumm Napa, Schramsberg Vineyards, Sonoma Coast Vineyards and Thralls Family Cellars.
