On Wednesday September 18, while Top 10+1 Sports blog discussed some NFL topics something very interesting came up. The AFC West might become the best division in the AFC. An idea that seemed far fetched only a couple weeks ago, might be reality by the end of the season. It may sound weird or out of line, but after looking how quickly the NFC West changed its perception, there's no doubt that the AFC West is trending in the right direction.
No matter how you want to disregard what the AFC West is doing so far, you can't change the fact that they have six wins and two losses in the first two weeks.
The Denver Broncos are (2-0) and they are looking like a juggernaut this season. However, it was expected in Peyton Manning's second season. Yet, who knew that they would put 49 points up against the Ravens and back that up with a 41 point effort against the New York Giants on the road? Even with all the success, maybe it won't be a cakewalk into a third straight division title.
The Kansas City Chiefs are also undefeated as Top 10+1 Sports notes. They took out the Dallas Cowboys, and they have a huge road contest at Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night. In two games, they've let up 18 points. It will surely be their toughest challenge this week.
It should be noted and can not be understated that the AFC West went (3-0) against the NFC East on Sunday.
Here's a snippet from Top 10+1, "The San Diego Chargers really should be undefeated but they let a huge lead get away against the Houston Texans. So far the offense looks in sync with Philip Rivers reverting back to his old form." After the Chargers three point victory over Philadelphia, San Diego might be a team to be reckoned with.
Even the Raiders have looked like a relevant team in the first two weeks.
