AeroTurbine will create 75 jobs in Miramar

Governor Rick Scott announced that AeroTurbine, a manufacturer and repairer of aircraft engines will create 75 jobs in Miramar. In a release from the Office of Governor Rick Scott dated January 24, Governor Scott was quoted as saying, “AeroTurbine’s creation of 75 new jobs is a great addition to the Broward community. With today’s news that Florida’s unemployment rate dropped to 6.2 percent and we have created 462,000 in three years, it’s clear that it’s working in Florida,” said Scott.

AeroTurbine’s new location in Miramar will function as the organization’s corporate headquarters as the company continues to expand. The company chose Miramar after considering Dallas, Texas, according to the release by the Office of Governor Rick Scott. Michael King, AeroTurbine’s President and CEO was quoted as saying, “AeroTurbine is thrilled to be in our new state-of-the-art facility in Miramar. The facility is ideal for our new worldwide corporate headquarters and will well serve AeroTurbine’s aggressive growth plans,” said King in the release by the Office of Governor Rick Scott, January 24.
