Aeromar Airlines Begins Non-Stop Service Between Austin and Mexico City

Aeromar Airlines, Transportes Aeromar, S.A. de C.V, began non-stop service today from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to Mexico City (Benito Juarez International Airport). The flights to Mexico City will depart Austin at 9:45 AM and arrive in Mexico City at around noon time. Returning flights will leave Mexico City at 6:38 AM and arrive around 8:55 AM in Austin. There will be some variance in frequency and seasonal adjustments. The airline will operate the Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft on these flights with a capacity of 50 passengers. The CRJ-200 is based on the popular Challenger jet, with many variants in use today. There is a special inaugural round trip fare available if you book and travel before October 31st. United Airlines is partnered with Aeromar allowing passengers with the United MileagePlus frequent flyer program to earn miles by flying on Aeromar.

Aeromar's first flight was in November of 1987, from Toluca to Acapulco. It currently operates 14 ATR-42 turboprop aircraft and 2 CRJ-200 jets to over 25 destinations.
