Advice for engagement ring presentation

Dear Ms. Maven,

 

I want to surprise my fiancee with the engagement ring.  My parents know someone in the business, so we should be able to get the ring at a good price.  And I know her rings size, so there should be no problem with fit.  I was thinking of hiding the ring in a cookie or another dessert.  That way our dinner out will have a really exciting ending.  What do you suggest?
