Adventures by Disney, Disney’s luxury tour vacations that provide offer family-friendly travel around the globe, is taking its guests to new destinations. Beginning April 2011, Adventures by Disney (ABD) will offer guests seven- and nine-night itineraries to Egypt.
ABD’s Egypt: “Pyramids, Pharaohs & Ancient Treasures” itineraries include visiting the Great Pyramids and the sphinx in Giza, a Nile River cruise, and days and nights spent in Cairo.
Highlights for Adventures by Disney, Egypt:
- See the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx in Giza, viewed while astride a camel;
- Stay in Cairo, enjoying a private guided tour of the King Tutankhaman’s tomb at the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and visiting the Citadel of Salah Al-Din, the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, and Khan Khalili marketplace;
- Take a Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor aboard the M/S Tulip; and
- Tour ancient temples of the Nile, including Ramses VI and King Tut.

In 2011, ABD will offer 25 itineraries. Trips last between six to 13 days and take place on six continents. Other ABD vacations include guided international tours to China, Costa Rica, France, Italy, and South Africa.
ABD also offers North America trips, including “Backstage Magic,” a trip to Hollywood and Disneyland Resort; “Southwest Splendor,” a visit to the Grand Canyon; and “Rocky Trails and Mountie Tales,” which takes guests to Montana and Canada, focusing on the Glacier and Banff National Parks.
