Adventure riders rejoice, oversized fuel tank kits now available for BMW 650 & 800GS

Touratech-USA, the folks who produce lots of goodies for all us Adventure Riders, has just introduced an oversized fuel tank kit for the BMW F800GS and F650GS twin cylinder motorcycles. Their kit includes an additional tank, supply lines and fittings for a gravity-feed connection to the stock under-seat tank.

In this video, Pacific Northwest adventure riders gathered for a weekend of off-road riding last year. This event, sponsored by Touratech-USA, was organized by Dorian Sleeper (Puget Sound Enduro Riders) and filmed and produced by Sterling Noren/Wide World HD Productions.

This new tank is crafted from nearly indestructible Polyamide Nylon, the same material used for car bumpers. When installed, Touratechs’ new tank increases the combined volume of your F650 or F800 GS to 9.5 gallons (36 liters), more than doubling the range of your motorcycle over the 4.2 gallon stock fuel capacity and immediately transforming you into a long-distance BMW adventure Rider.

The new Touratech tank installs in the normal position of a motorcycle tank, seamlessly replacing the front body panels on the bike. This kit matches the styling of your BMW while dramatically expanding fuel range and transforming your F800/650GS into an adventure touring moto capable of gobbling up some serious terra firma.
