Adventure in Music - Travel to St. George

It is just under two hours to drive from Las Vegas to St. George, Utah. For a special musical travel adventure plan on driving up to St. George to listen to the 200 voice Southern Utah Heritage Choir on Easter Sunday.

The choir is preparing for an international tour to Ireland and this may be your only opportunity to hear a magnificent 200 member choir before they depart for foreign shores. The choir is preparing a magnificent Easter program to be presented in the St. George Tabernacle on Sunday, March 31st and again on Monday, April 1st.

The performances will begin at 7 pm and there is no admission charge so you won't want to miss it.

Also recommended for your trip to St. George for this special event. Leave early and consider one of the following options.

Option #1: Visit the Valley of Fire State Park along the way - about halfway between Las Vegas and St. George.

Option # 2: Plan to drive through and maybe even take a walk on one of the short trails in the beautiful Snow Canyon State Park on the north side of St. George - just a few minutes from the Tabernacle.

Option #3: Arrive early enough to take a stroll down the main street of Santa Clara on the west side of St. George. It is a lovely little community with a great history of the Mormon settlements there. Plaques and sculptures will tell you some of the story so you can meander the main street and learn a bit of the fascinating history of the area.

Enjoy your visit to St. George and drive carefully on your return to Las Vegas . . . or, check into one of the fine accommodations in St. George, stay the night and have Breakfast at Tifiny's in Santa Clara before you return. And . . .

Keep on Traveling!
