Even before all the denials and lawsuit threats and legal stances by all involved, a porn site has offered former Miss Delaware Teen USA 2012 Melissa King a job as their worldwide representative. That's right. As TMZ reported Wednesday (Feb. 27), a hardcore porn site offered King a quarter of a million dollars to promote it.
The offer came from YouPorn.com (NSFW) the day after King reportedly resigned her position and gave up her title. The adult website claims to be one of the largest Internet sites -- as far as traffic is concerned -- in the world. Braden Burns, the marketing director of YouPorn wrote to say that although "saddened" that King had resigned as Miss Delaware Teen USA, he wanted to extend an offer that would be a "win win" for both King and the website.
He wrote: "While you may have surrendered your tiara for Miss Teen USA, we'd like to keep that pretty head of yours topped with ours, and name you Miss Youporn !"
And the offers seems to be extended without the usual quid pro quo of having to do a sex video.
As yet, there is no word whether or not King has even heard about the offer.
And it still isn't clear as to whether or not the young woman in the sex video purported to be the then Miss Delaware Teen USA is actually Melissa King, although said woman does bear a striking resemblance to the former beauty queen. And even though the scandal prompted King to resign, it doesn't actually prove anything.
When asked by The New Journal (Delaware Online) if she and the young woman having sex in the video with an unidentified male were the one and the same, King responded. "Absolutely not." She later added, “There are comments saying this, however, it’s not comments that are true."
That was the day before she resigned.
However, two days after she resigned, Fox News reported that King posted to Twitter: "Be strong, life has a funny way of working out. Kim K made it and now is one of the most powerful women in the US."
King has retained an attorney but there have been no comments forthcoming from the former beauty queen or her legal representative. But one thing is certain: Regardless of whether or not the model in the short sex video is the former pageant queen, Melissa King has a career in the porn industry -- if she so chooses.
