Adult male arrested for sex with 6th graders

Austin Luye, 18, of Perryville has been accused of approaching girls as young as 6th graders on Facebook and then having sex with them across two counties in Perry and St. Fancois. He allegedly arranged meetings with them while luring them to secluded places for sexual relations. Luye's activities occurred over a 4-month time span. Luye was between the ages of 17 and 18 during the incidents. Allegedly, Luye had sexual relations with 5-victims in Perry County and 1 in Farmington. There could be more victims out there who have yet to come forward. Most of the victims were 13-years of age. Even though some crimes were committed by Luye while he was a minor, he has been charged as an adult and is currently jailed in the St. Fancois County facility in Farmington on $110,000 cash-only bond.

According to Luye's Facebook page, he is a graduate of Farmington High School (2011) and attending Mineral Area College (2014). The following is a link to Austin Luye's Facebook page, friends list. If you are a parent from Southeastern Missouri, I highly suggest that you browse his friend's list to see if your daughter is listed. Most of his friends are females who appear to be in their early teens.
