Adrienne Maloof opens up about the surrogacy rumors in an exclusive interview with Life & Style magazine on Thursday, Jan. 31, saying that by blurting out the surrogacy secret, “RHOBH” co-star Brandi Glanville “took away something so precious from our family.”
Maloof, who with her brothers recently sold the Sacramento Kings, exclusive told Life & Style magazine, “I would think Brandi, being a single mother, would have a heart and understand my feelings, where I’m coming from.”
Adrienne and now ex-husband Dr. Paul Nassif had planned on waiting until six-year-old twins Christian and Colin were “a few years older” before telling them that “mommy didn’t carry them in her belly.”
In May 2012, Adrienne and Paul Nassif involved their attorneys in the matter and sent Brandi a cease-and-desist letter ordering her not to talk about the surrogacy matter again. Glanville refused to sign, saying, “If I sign a paper saying I’ll never talk about you again, I’m probably going to jail.”
Maloof feels that Brandi’s accusations were what drove the wedge between her and Paul Nassif apart.
“Brandi did destroy our family. Right now I’m really hurt and upset, especially because I've stood up for Brandi [Glanville] as a mother in the past.”
