Less than an hour ago, March 25 at 3:11 p.m. ET, Dan Rafael, of ESPN, has confirmed that former multi-division world champion, Adrien Broner (27-1, 22 KOs), has been added to the May 3 Floyd Mayweather-Marcos Maidana undercard.
Broner, of Cincinnati, OH, will face off against Carlos Molina (17-1-1, 7 KOs), of Norwalk, CA. The fight will take place at the 140 pound weight limit.
Coming off the first loss of his career, Broner drops down in weight hoping to get his career back on track. Instead of the rematch with Maidana, who will be headlining the card along with Mayweather, Broner must sit and watch as his 'big brother' attempts to avenge his loss.
With three other fights already scheduled for the televised PPV, Broner-Molina appears to be the last fight added to the telecast.
