Victoria's Secret supermodel Adriana Lima is widely considered one of the sexiest women in the world, so it's no surprise the Brazilian bombshell follows a healthy diet and works out regularly.
"It's important to watch what you eat: protein, a little bit of carbs, and vegetables," Lima told ABC News Sept. 10. "And I work out."
The 5-foot-10 brunette stunner says boxing is her go-to workout, but she also jumps rope and lifts weights to stay lean and toned. Adriana, 32, prefers vigorous workouts because they get her heart rate up and keep her from getting bored.
"[My workouts are] really intense," she said. "It's not really the amount of time you spend working out, it's the intensity. I jump rope, I do boxing, I lift weights. If I am not moving I get bored very easily."
Lima eats well most of the time, and usually has an omelet or oatmeal for breakfast, and grilled meats, vegetables and rice beans for lunch and dinner. Of course, she also enjoys her favorite snacks from time to time.
"Sometimes I'll do a pancake [for breakfast]," she said. "And I love chocolate and coconut cake. I'm crazy for coconut."
Amazingly, Lima is the mother of two little girls: Valentina (born in November 2009) and Sienna (born in September 2012). Last year, Adriana wowed fans when she walked the runway at the 2012 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show just two months after giving birth to Sienna.
While looking good is a job requirement, Lima said she really enjoys working out because it makes her feel great, and because it's an investment in her future.
"I’m really looking forward to my future," she said. "When I get older, I want to really be in shape. And also working out is a great source of detox. You sweat out all the toxins. Working out should be a part of everybody’s routine."
