Adrian Pasdar of 'Heroes' guest stars on Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

Adrian Pasdar has fought alongside the Hulk as the voice of Tony Stark/Iron Man in Marvel's Avengers Assemble.

Now, the Heroes alumni will be the opposite side of that end, as Marvel announced that the actor will play Glenn Talbot in an upcoming episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

In the comics, Talbot is the right-hand man of General Ross, who devoted his life to capturing -- and destroying -- scientist Bruce Banner/the Hulk, whom Ross considers to be a threat to the world when Banner turns into the Hulk whenever the scientist gets angry ... and you wouldn't like Banner when he gets angry -- yet that is his secret for remaining calm.

Complicating Ross' hunt for Banner/the Hulk is the fact that his daughter Betty loves Bruce, who is also Talbot's romantic rival for Betty's affections.

Besides his role as ruthless and ambitious politician Nathan Petrelli on NBC's Heroes, Pasdar had a recurring role in the final season of USA's Burn Notice, which also had fellow Heroes alum Jack Coleman (aka Noah "Horn-Rimmed Glasses" Bennet) as Andrew Strong, the CIA handler of burned spy Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan).

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesdays at 8pm on ABC.
