Adrian Jones talks about future Legoland Florida projects, including canals

Legoland Florida has brought many beloved elements of the former Cypress Gardens, including the gardens themselves, as well as the famous Florida Pool, and even the Southern belles. Granted, the belles are in Lego form, but they did return live for the reopening of the Oriental Garden and Florida Pool on March 5.

After the reopening ceremony, which you can see on video by jumping to this article, the park's general manager, Adrian Jones, talked to the media about restoring these two areas, as well as future plans to bring even more fond Cypress Gardens memories back to life.

Although there was nothing definite, Jones talked about fixing the canals and perhaps even bringing back the former boat ride. He also hinted that topiary fans might see a turn of the well-groomed figures at some point.

If you'd like to hear what he said for yourself, view the video accompanying this article. You can also hear from Bob Gernert, former president of the Greater Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce, by going here.
