The lingerie fashion company Adore Me hosted the inaugural National Corset Day press party on Tuesday at the Sky Room located at 330 West 40 Street in New York City. Several women arrived wearing a variety of corsets. Many of the women that arrived without a corset, later changed into a Liberty corset, patterned after the American flag, compliments of Adore Me. Men were given t-shirts with a corset print graphic which enabled them to show humor and support for brand new holiday.

The event also featured a burlesque dance performance by two dancers from Atomic Entertainment. The pair spun, gyrated, kicked up their legs and busted out impressive, sexy dance moves for guest while wearing the Hazel and Yvonne corset provided by Adore Me. The party consisted of models, bloggers, executives, fashion lovers and corset aficionados. One of the more impressive corsets worn was a black and sky blue corset with, black, white and green flower details. It cinched just right, and matched the wearer's multicolored hair style.

One of the event's sponsors was makeup artist Ylenia Mazzei, who recently opened Silhouette Beauty Bar on 239 East 53 Street in NYC. She applied makeup onto guests interested in a quick application by skilled hands. Adore Me is a two year old lingerie company based in New York City. They design bras, panties, swimwear, sleepwear, leg wear and active wear. This event ushered in their recent entry into fashion corsets.
