Adorable, unique dog is running out of time at busy animal control

Shelton is an adorable mid-sized dog - the type that most people would assume to be quickly snatched up by an adopter. Unfortunately, despite his unique, intriguing appearance, he remains unclaimed and he is quickly running out of time at the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter in Calif.

Shelton has the big, blocky head of a bulldog or boxer, and the short, stocky legs of a basset hound...the two-year-old dog is definitely a head turner, but since the day that he entered the facility on August 4, he has yet to catch the attention of someone who is willing, and able, to take him home.

A video was taken of the impounded dog - throughout the short clip, his tail never stops wagging.

Shelton is in need of the help of strangers who are willing to take a moment to network his information to help him find a home. Networking helps to increase a sheltered dog's visibility, and it may lead to a rescue or better yet, an adoption.
