It may have been Sassey's adorable Lhasa/Border Collie face or it may have been her perky personality that garnered her the top prize of Adorable Pet of the Week in our last installment of the gallery. Smokey, the teddy bear hugging kitty pounced on second place and Eliot, the fifteen year old cat tied for third place with adoptable dog, Gus.
Stella, the dog with her own blog had a respectable showing of votes, as did Rico, the five gallon bucket chewing canine. Check out Rainy, Rico's "sister " in this week's contest. Can you tell they are related?
There were many firsts in the last gallery. Two cats were in the top three and a shelter pet was in the top three. There are no cats this week (hint hint), but we do have a dog who has a buffalo for a best friend.

All of the dogs are adorable this week. It was hard to choose as usual. I guess I need to send some pictures of my cats :)
