Adoption success story: Patsy from Good Mews Animal Foundation

One of the greatest measures of success as an animal rescuer is to find out that an animal that you helped save is happy and thriving in its forever home. It reminds us why we do what we do every day in our efforts of saving the lives of our innocent four-legged fur babies.

This week’s adoption success story is Patsy from Good Mews Animal Foundation in Marietta. Here is her version of “happily ever after” (in her own words):

“Happy New Year! Things are going great over here!!! I just wanted to give you all an update on everything that’s been going on in my life—I am moving to New York! My mommy got a new police job in New York City! I’m very nervous to move to my new home, because there are three other cats there, but I’m hoping everyone gets along with me. I am a little lonely here and my mommy says the new cats are very fun and playful, so I’m hoping we can be friends! Hopefully I survive the long car ride!!!!! Before I leave, I just wanted to thank everyone over at Good Mews for taking such good care of me while I was waiting for my forever home! I don’t know where I would be without you all!!! You all saved my life and I cannot thank you enough for it!!!”
