Adoption success story: Cinnamon (now Luna) from Furkids

One of the greatest measures of success as an animal rescuer is to find out that an animal that you helped save is happy and thriving in its forever home. It reminds us why we do what we do every day in our efforts of saving the lives of our innocent four-legged fur babies.

This week’s adoption success story in metro Atlanta is Cinnamon (now known as Luna) who was recently adopted from Furkids. Here is Luna’s “happy beginnings” story from her new family (from the Furkids' Facebook page):

“Cinnamon, who we have renamed Luna (after the full moon the day we met her), settled in within minutes of arriving home. She was sweet and loving toward us and even started eating and using the litter box right away. She is incredibly well adjusted, which is more than I can say for Timmy, our other cat. They have divided the house between them (Timmy upstairs, Luna downstairs) for the time being.

Luna contracted an upper respiratory infection late last week so we've had to bring her back to Furkids for some medication. Hopefully she will feel better soon! She is still a baby doll, though! Please give our thanks to the Furkids team for their assistance. Looks like you have another success story for your records! She found her forever home.”
