One of the greatest measures of success as an animal rescuer is to find out that an animal that you helped save is happy and thriving in its forever home. It reminds us why we do what we do every day in our efforts of saving the lives of our innocent four-legged fur babies.
This week’s adoption success story is Ace from Good Mews Animal Foundation in Marietta. Here is his version of “happily ever after” (in his own words from the Good Mews Facebook page):
“Hi everyone . . . Ace here. Guess where I am? Sitting in my new mom’s bed, in my new forever home! Whee! My new mama came and picked me up today! She let me walk around the apartment, and I just picked out what side of the bed I want to sleep on. I think I am really going to like it here!
Thank you everyone for being my friend while I was at Good Mews. I love you all and will miss you! You take care of all of my kitty pals until they get lucky like me and find their own forever home! Bye!”
